Even after the input from everyone, I still couldn't decide what colors to do. So I went the random route.
I printed out pictures of all the options that got votes.
Stuck them in Sierra's hat.
And had Aubrey choose one for me.
The light blue-gray and dark gray combo won!
So far it is turning out really nice. I am excited to get to the lacy part though, the stripes will get boring pretty fast. :P

Options Part 2
Ok, two more options due to suggestions that I got.
And a picture of the actual shawl that I forgot to include in the first set.

Options. Opinions?
I have a shawl that I want to make that takes two colors. I have a few lots of options in my stash of yarn.
(also see part two)
I need some help from all you color savvy people! I have put together a few pairs of what I like. Tell me in the comments which you like. If there is a combo you think would look good and I don't have a picture of it, don't hesitate to tell me.

Easter Hat
Sierra is much too young to really care about what I make for her. So, I went with something practical. A pretty little sunhat to keep the sun off her little baby head this spring and summer.
I actually crocheted it. *Gasp* I don't crochet much anymore, even though it is what I learned first. Making this hat reminded me that I really do enjoy it. So much so that I started a LARGE crochet project. That is for another post though. :)
Here are some more gratuitous baby pictures. Just because she is adorable! :)

Easter Goodies
Since I wasn't going to be able to be there in person this year, I knit up a couple bunnies to send down to my nieces for Easter this year. I made them into ballerina bunnies, since my nieces are both in dance classes. I think they turned out super adorable. Well so long as you don't look too closely at the sewing on the skirts. :P
They were very well received and will be very well loved at their new home.
I made one for Aubrey too, but it has yet to get a skirt, shoes and photoshoot. She saw it was done and won't give it back. :) It looks the exact same as the other two but is periwinkle blue instead of pink.
