I started this project on the 1st of the month like the rest of the group, but then realized that I used the wrong needles and all my swatches were much too large. So, I had to restart. I also realized I should probably blog about it on this poor neglected site. I don't know that I will update every single day, but I will at least weekly.
I am starting each month's section with a square that has the abbreviation for that month on it.
So here are the squares for Jan. and the 1st. They aren't anything too special just done in plain cream yarn.
You can't see the letters as well as I would like but this one says JAN for January.
This is the January 1st square in a pattern called Basket Rib. Definitely not a favorite of mine.
